Susie Bubble Fashion Weeks Street Style - dancing to the beat of her own music Pt 2 - at the SS'13 Fashion Weeks

I have previously posted on Susanna Lau's (aka blogger Susie Bubble of Style Bubble) quirky style.  Few are able to layer like she can, and she did so with as many elements of fun in each outfit, as only she can:

This Grace Coddington for Balenciaga bag is just too cute, especially in the orange-red version below (not carried by Susie)

Shopbop's 'Big Event' up to 35% code

I meant to share this ages ago and forgot, but since there are still a few days left, better late than never. This is probably old news to many of you, but if you shop at Shopbop, you can save up to 35% by entering the code 'BIGEVENT12' at checkout. This is edging me closer to going ahead with a few items from my wishlist:

Just go to Shopbop and enter BIGEVENT12 at checkout.

Santa Baby...

I quite enjoy receiving emails leading me to well-curated gift guides, as I am quite often stumped for ideas, and welcome any suggestions.  However, on occasion, they just add to my wishlist (emphasis on 'wish').  I have long drooled over the straight-from-the-runway pieces from Moda Operandi, but most recently, my jaw dropped on seeing some of their amazing gift items:

Anndra Neen: Metal cage iPad case €873

Kelly Wearstler: Bejeweled Bottle Opener $425, Tina Frey: Ocean Blue Champagne Bucket (this being the most affordable item on this post, and one I actually would use from time to time, I am seriously considering it, now ocean blue or white?) $190

Kimberly McDonald Agate Book Ends (sooooo beyootiful!) €1,381, Siegelson: Rene Boivin Art Moderne Silver, Wood, and Diamond Wristwatch, a one-of-a-kind Rene Boivin timepiece that dates back to 1935 and features allover diamond accents. €19,615 (my first thought when I saw this, ooh, how cute, and then my eyes went to the price, and *thump* jaw hit the ground)

Maison Martin Margiela for H&M

How I wish I had access to an H&M store! Or that their online store shipped internationally to Oz!  The collaborative collection with Maison Martin Margiela looks incredible, and I hear the quality is quite good.  My current wishlist includes:
  • Oversized cashmere turtleneck (especially the navy)
  • Beige pumps with perspex heel
  • Possibly the same in the black ankle boots
  • Narrow shouldered blazer
Also considering:
  • The beige leather tote
  • The 'watch' band bracelet and belt
  • The circle shirt
Have any of you managed to nab any pieces? What are your thoughts on the collection?

Dries Van Noten and gorgeous prints - Street Style at the Spring/Summer 2013 Fashion Weeks

It was a delight to see Dries Van Noten's oriental prints on the 'streets' during the recent fashion weeks:

More beautiful prints worn during the SS'13 Fashion Weeks, starting with ADR's beautiful Proenza Schouler ensemble, and how stunning is blogger Peony Lim's white and blue 'dress' (which were in fact two scarves tied together - how genius is that? Also love her 'caju' - cashew fruit printed dress!)

Christine Centenera Pt 3 - Aussie Aussie Aussie! At the SS'13 Fashion Weeks.

Apologies for going MIA. I just returned from a trip to Melbourne for a cousin's wedding (which was beautiful and so sweet). and even though we had a fantastic time, I am so glad to be home, and am absolutely knackered... Anyway, at the rate I'm going, it will be the next Fashion Week season before I have finished my posts. So without further ado, I present to you all Christine Centenera's style in the recent SS'13 Fashion Weeks. Not one to shy away from taking risks, she is a great 'ambassador' for Australian fashion, mixing Australian designers such as Ellery, Ksubi, Sass & Bide, Willow and of course, her boyfriend's label Josh Goot, with international designers such as Givenchy, Tom Ford, Proenza Schouler, Celine and Alaia:
